@maryflorida I recently saw a sign in CVS which speaks of taking Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen together. Something like 500 mg of acetaminophen and 200 mg of ibuprofen, I think. Maybe ask your Dr about that concoction.

@maryflorida Hi Girls, you can take acetaminophen with an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) such as aspirin, advil, ibuprofen etc. bc they are two different things (properties) but you can't take two NSAIDS together. That would be doubling up. BTW, people tend to think acetaminophen is so benign they can take more than directions say but it can be highly toxic to the liver. And a very painful death. Always best to check with your doctor. Take care, Sunnyflower

Thanks, rwinney.. Unfortunately I am on a blood thinner which means no nsaids like ibuprofen.
