Hi @cesery, welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'd like to bring @sunshine61250 into this conversation. She has also had cervical cancer. The majority of cervical cancers are squamous cell carcinomas. I had this. Luckily it was caught very early and the entire cancer was removed with a simple cone biopsy.

Cesery, were you recently diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix?
I have squamous cell carcinoma of the uterus and a malignant neoplasm of the Endometrium. I have had the Cone and Leep procedures. Years ago I had the squamous cell carcinoma of the anal cancel and it was cured by surgery, chemo and radiation. Not sure how this time will differ and my lymph nodes are involved. I have a feeling that I am going down a long path ahead. Anyone else have experiences with this? Thanks so much, Gina
@earscan, are the two diagnosis related? What treatments will be having for the squamous cell carcinoma of the uterus and a malignant neoplasm of the endometrium?
On Tuesday I find out, Just reading the reports now. It also says it metastisized to the lymph nodes around my aorta and Jugular and other lymph nodes. But the report says the cervix cancer and uterus cancer is contained so I am not sure what to make of it. Hoping for just a hysterectomy and something to clear up the lymph nodes but not even sure what stage anything is in or what the treatments will be. Preparing for the worst and hoping for the best!
@earscan, what treatment plan did you decide with your team and how are you doing?
