Also, the number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are using the medicine."

Some people take Gabpentin for epilepsy, neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia and other conditions, so the frequency, dosage and length of time will be different for everyone. Are you able to contact your wife's doctor to clarify?
