@sunnyflower -- Ah...that kind of tip is what you were asking about, my bad. One thing that I think is most important for every member - your own health is job #1. Before you can help others, you must take care of yourself. If you miss a post, well that happens. I miss a lot of posts. Not because I'm not interested or don't care about someone but it is sometimes overwhelming for all of us and we have to step back for awhile. Another problem is that if you are not tagged in a reply with your "@ membername", it's very easy to miss a reply or a post meant for you to see. That is one of the reasons I try to ensure that I always use the member name when replying to a post.

There are a couple of discussions that are a great resource for newer members and a refresher for those of us that have been on Connect a long time.

To all my friends on Connect:

It is just as healthy to take a step back, a step away, a breather from this wonderful place we call Connect, than it is to be immersed. I myself have needed to as others problems weigh heavily on me, in addition to my own.

Being involved with such an important group brings comfort, security and trust which people may not find elsewhere... I know this to be true for myself. However, I also have gotten better at realizing and being honest with myself when I physically and/or mentally cant keep up.

Connect will be here waiting for you...be kind to yourself.

My best,
Rachel
