That must be hard to deal with in Florida! I’m from northwest Indiana, so it will be cooling off very soon. Thanks so much!

Hi @kyc117 You’re welcome. Glad you have the upcoming cooler months to look forward to. It is not hard for me at all. I have lived in the harsh cold climate of new england before moving to Florida. I wouldn’t want to deal with ice and snow in case of falls so the climate would prevent me from the outdoors. It gets hot and humid there too. In fact, I would be indoors more often than Florida. In Florida I go outdoors all the time but am more cautious during the hot summer months. I enjoy the rainy season. I do not keep the indoor temperatures low, mid to upper 70s. I do not need to because the ceiling fans are always on. I count on the moving air to keep cooler. I did previously enjoy hot showers but now use warm water instead. During the hot summer months I prefer cold or warm foods and drinks, rarely hot coffee. It is a newly required adaptation to be able to enjoy foods once again.....what can you do? It is definitely a learning experience. For me, I was lucky to have survived. Thanks for listening. Take care of yourself!
