Does anyone recommend a portable, rechargable TENS unit for pain?
Does anyone recommend a portable, rechargable TENS unit for pain management? The easier to use the better, trying to go to the bathroom a dozen times a night and adjusting all the sticky nodes is very frustrating, too. I had one that helped with my sciatica pain but was too cumbersome to continue using and it wore out quite quicky.

Jen, what a great post! Lots to smile about here. Hope it's a great day for you. Lift weights? Wow! Hugs, Sunnyflower
Absolutely, correct! @catahrbert
@busterbrown 22 Very well said and so true I enjoy my friends on connect
@sunnyflower
If I remember correctly, you mentioned a numbing medication you were given so a cortisone shot was less painful. Could you remind me what that was?
My spinal stenosis surgery went well yesterday. The nerves were being severely squeezed at L3-L4 and L4-L5. She cut notches in 3 bones to give a larger space in my spinal canal.
Jim
Hi Jim, so glad your surgery went well, hopefully you will have less pain now. I never realized the surgeon could do that, makes sense and since I have spinal stenosis that info may prove to come in handy in the future. I also had a steroid shot today for my persistent bursitis/tendinitis, the dr. said he was adding lidocaine to the steroid to help numb the pain plus the numbing topical, there was still some slight pain at times while he was fanning the needle but nothing bad. I hope it does the job! Helen
@sunnyflower afraid I let everyone down today. I did not lift any tiny weights today. I had coffee with my neighbor on her beautiful veranda then took Murphy on a walk and that was it for the day. I let the pain rule my brain and laid in bed. There was no excuse. I couldn’t bring myself to ice or TENS. Don’t know what happened. Last night the TENS didn’t stop the pain so up every couple hours. I just needed some support from you guys so decided to get up and read what’s been going on and ice and TENS. Hope to talk to you tomorrow
@johnbishop I really enjoy my Tend for the relief it gives me This is my 2nd one Used since ,2005 I just used it on my neck and low back before sleep had a restful night
@busterbrown Hope you had a restful night I used mine on my shoulder,neck area and low back helped me sleep
@bustrbrwn22 Jen, please forgive yourself when you don't do the things you intended to do. You must!!!! I cannot tell you how many times my pain has totally ruled my day, and I did nothing but cry or listen to music to soothe myself. Forgive yourself. You must be kind to yourself. Lori Renee
@jesfactsmon Love you, Hank. Just do. Period. Lori Renee
