Does anyone recommend a portable, rechargable TENS unit for pain?
Does anyone recommend a portable, rechargable TENS unit for pain management? The easier to use the better, trying to go to the bathroom a dozen times a night and adjusting all the sticky nodes is very frustrating, too. I had one that helped with my sciatica pain but was too cumbersome to continue using and it wore out quite quicky.

@bustrbrwn22 Hi I have a Tens Unit and it does relieve pain from tight muscles and the sciatica yes I just had sciatica and my chiropractor used a Tens Unit on me I also bought my last one from Amazon not difficult at all to use directions come with it previously had one for over 10 yrs it wore out so new one I love it after applying the electrodes ice or heat on top
Thanks for responding. Can you walk around with it (it’s hard to keep disconnecting at night when trying to sleep)? Could you provide the model and cost and where you stick the electrodes? Mine would be on my upper right buttocks and lower hamstring. Wish I could do bottom of feet at same time. Thanks so much!
@busterbrown My Tens unit is from Amazon Model numberAS1080. I apply me be on upper and lower back other times buttocks and thigh the instructions also have lower leg and feet on the outside and inside of foot and ankle. It didn't cost alot but works really well It's by KEDSUM. I walk around with it sometime
Thanks so much
@busterbrown Your welcome
@lioness I now have 2 of the TENS unit you recommended. One as a backup and if I’m desperate one to wear on feet and one for rest of sciatica. Still dangerous at night if I go
To bathroom.
Hi Jen, The tens unit is something I have never tried, and I know nothing about it. I will be reading here to learn more!!! Lori Renee
G'morning - I have an adjustable tens unit. I Like it very much and it helps me with pain. I bought it on Amazon for $64.95. This is the brief description:
TENS Unit and EMS Combination Muscle Stimulator with 2 Channels, 12 Modes for Pain Management for Back, Neck, Arms, Legs, Abs, and Muscle Rehabilitation. You can use it for 20 minutes or an additional 10 minutes up to 60 minutes. The instructions coming with it are clear and I find it easy to use. Good Luck.
@busterbrown How do you like them and do they help your feet? Just be careful at night I hold onto whatever is there to make it to bathroom my problem is balance my feet aren't as bad as others on here .
@lorirenee1 I have used mine for along time it not only relieves your tense muscle but relaxes the nerve . You should try it .
