Your flu shot is important-
Earlier on this discussion there were questions about Where? and When? to get your flu shot. But now here is more information that I just found in this recent Mayo Minute. Which flu vaccine will be best for you and for your family members?

@rosemarya I had mine recently. The department of infectious diseases at MGH recommended waiting until October since that's when the heavy flu season starts and the immunity only lasts about 6 months, so anyone who is getting one and hasn't yet really shouldn't wait much longer.
Of course, I don't know how my husband and I could get the flu, we are very heavily isolating.
