Acts of Kindness When you're Sheltered In?
I just read your article on relieving stress. It has so many good suggestions but one of the remedies puzzles me. Yes, kindness to others always makes us feel better but as an octogenarian and one who is sheltered in, what acts of kindness can I do for others? Thank you for your many articles on health and well being; they have been inspiring and helpful to me.

@harriethodgson, How wonderful that you have the art training and have also just published a book for tweens and teens...and would think it great for any of us searching for ways to bring more smiles. Please send us an update when Grief Doodling: Bringing Back Your Smiles becomes available on Amazon. For some of us oldies with short term memories, we need reminders! lol
Grief Doodling: Bringing Back YOur Smiles is now on Amazon. I'm excited.
How do you doodle?
Not a pun!!🤔
Doodle Art is a combination of doodles, cartoons, and folk art. To learn more about it, log into the Internet and use the search words "Doodle Art examples." You can also watch doodle art videos online.
@harriethodgson1- I use to doodle but they looked nothing like what I'm seeing on line. I watercolor and maybe it will help with my drawing ability-
Many people are combining watercolors and doodles and the results are striking. You have to use watercolor paper, though, which is a bit pricey.
@harriethodgson1, Congratulations!! Will check it out! Amazing to meet a newly published author! So much talent within these Connect groups!!
There are 2 ways to approach watercolors and doodling. You can do random watercolors, let it dry, and add doodle lines as you choose. Or you can plan your picture, sketch it lightly, add watercolors, and finish with black doodle lines. I've tried both and enjoyed both.
Grief Doodling s my 44th book and I'm excited to see it on Amazon.
@harriethodgson1- Just incredible! You are certainly a force. I am proud to know you.
