Thanks everyone for your response. I decided to do a lot more reading about strokes and your heart. I was just reading a book by Dr. Jay Cohn called Cardiovascular health. He stated some (he didn't say which) blood thinner actually help in repairing the artery walls in the heart. Have any of you heard that?

@elegantgem I haven't heard that but it does make some sense. I had a Heart Transplant and maybe that's why they want me on baby asprin is to help heal the different veins and arteries of mine that were sewn together. Interesting thought. I'll have to ask next time im in for a check-up.
