Senior Assistance PN
Hello. This might be a long shot since people like to be online more. My mom is 80 and she suffers from non diabetic pn. She does not know anything about the internet or even computers. With Covid, she doesn't really want to go anywhere afraid of getting sick. I can't offer her anything other than an ear because I do not have this. So I didn't know if there was anyone that would want to chat with her, over the phone, and share ideas and things that might or might not have helped. If no I understand. Thank you

@lorirenee1 Lol! My, my how you make me laugh! Oh, I would totally hug you in person too. We all need a boost some days and I know you especially do. If I can ever help you or anyone, Im glad to do it. Wishing you good distraction today, and flowers for you too my friend. XOXOXO
Best wishes,
Rachel
@rwinney I was GOING to get her those flowers, I WAS. But at the store I figured she'll just worry they are infected with Covid so I didn't. And that is the God's honest truth. I am going to show these photos to her. Boy, it's so dramatic the way these shots come in so huge on Connect! Thanks Rachel ol' pal, Hank
Hey @lorirenee1 Lori, if anybody will go out of their way to try something new to help those rascally feet, it's you. (I am switching to my dominant hand this second as writing the other way is frustratingly slow.) You got a LOT of heart, and SPUNK, kid. And unlike Lou Grant, I LOVE spunk (Mary Tyler Moore Show reference) . And guess what? I'd hug you no problem. I personally am getting pretty sick and tired of all these ridiculous restrictions. I know, not ridiculous for everyone. Mostly just us oldies. But I would take that risk. Always lifts my day whenever you chime in here my good friend. Best to you, Hank
PS: In another post I asked whether you have ever tried cayenne pepper on your feet? I am not sure I have heard anyone here say that they have. I figured you might have though.
@user_che214927 Mind is a builder
@jesfactsmon Awww, Hank, U DA BEST. God, I will take that hug from you. I'd risk it in a second! Problem is, I might now wanna let go. (But that's for another forum?$%#@!?) Anyway, I think I get by on spunk. My pre sickness personality was pretty much a live wire, and I hate to see it vanish. I can picture you trying to type with your other hand, and changing back to your dominant one. What a hoot! I do intend to try that when I am in the next terrible bout of pain. Right in the midst of pain, I will be typing away with my left hand, wondering about the insanity of life. I hope it blows my brain into smithereens, or causes such brain confusion, that I don't know what world I am in. That, with a toke of marijuana, and I will be set. It is at that very moment that I will slather my feet with cayenne pepper, and celibrate the insanity of life. Cayenne directly to the feet? Hmmmmmm........Hugs, Lori Renee
@rwinney Hi Rachel, Holy Cow! These flowers are gorgeous, and HUGE!!!! Love them! I am so glad I can make you laugh a bit. My sister, God rest her soul, used to say I was the funniest person she ever met. I loved that!!! I do feel that if I tushy bumped you, you would clearly fall on your ass. You are trim. I am kinda trim, as in, 15 pounds off the keister would be really good. My butt is pure chocolate chip. Yes, with our illness, we look for distractions all day. It can be exhausting. Life used to just be life, and I lived it. Now, I go from distraction, to distraction, to ward off pain. It's the best when the distraction is just good enough to forget.......even for a few hours. Love and hugs to you, dear Rachel, Lori Renee
@jesfactsmon Hi Hank, Have you thought of DRAWING some flowers, with your LEFT hand? Give them to Linda, and see if she can figure out what the heck the are. Neuro Plasticity gone array, completely.........Love, Lori Renee
@lorirenee1 It sounds like maybe you've been hitting the kratom early today? Actually I write and draw with my left hand normally so she might recognize the flowers, sort of. You are a classic, Lori, the Comedienne of Connect. 😂🤣😜 Best, Hank
@jesfactsmon Did not know you are a Southpaw! And it's not the Kratom that throws me through a loop! It's the marijuana! Can't handle that stuff at all!!! Today, I am helping my 6 year old grandson with his first day of KGN Virtual school. Oh my God! What a hoot! Zoom education! Keeps me a bit more distracted from DA FEET! Love, Lori
