Hi @allaboutus and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I've moved your 2 posts into one discussion thread. I'd also like to bring fellow members, @ees1@ladycat and @taylor_r_p who have talked about calcified meningiomas too.
While we wait for others to chime in, let's hear a bit more about you Allaboutus. When and how were you diagnosed? What treatment options are being considered or has watch and wait been recommended?
Hello Colleen
I hit my head and I had a CT done they found a 8 mm calcified extra axial lesion overlying the left frontal convexity with images favoring a benign meningioma. I am waiting to hear back from Mayo they received my written CT were waiting on the CD image. My anxiety is so over loaded. Just want to know what my options are.

While I'm sorry that you hit your head, I'm glad that the CT scan resulted in their finding the meningioma. I can understand that your anxiety is over the edge. Keep in mind, there are options for meningiomas and it is benign. Did Mayo receive the CD imaging in the meantime? Do you have a consult booked to discuss options?
Colleen I had a video appointment on Thursday, the Dr Chaichana Reviewed the CT images and went over everything with me. More than likely a calcified meningioma that has been there a while, I will do a MRI in 6 months.

I did the same thing, hit my head, found a meningioma with CT, had MRI, had surgery to remove the large meningioma on 12/10/19, now play golf 2-3 per week and drink a beer afterwards. Good luck with yours
Looking for anyone familiar with calcified extra axial lesion overlying the left frontal convexity.

@allaboutus, that's sounds reassuring. How are you feeling about the active surveillance or watch and wait approach? Anxiety calmed somewhat?
Yes feel good about wait and watch.
Wait/rest and watch/have Faith!!
