CPAP: What works for sore throat?

I use a Resmed N30i nasal cushion mask. I find it hard to imagine how the chin strap is going to work with it (the mask "straps" that come down the sides of the face to the nose are actually the tubes through which the air flows). Anyone had experience with this combination?
(BTW, I was suffering a lot from dry air - felt like my sinuses were being fried by it - the humidifier helped a lot with that. But my mouth does open occasionally, causing dry mouth.)

@gramps - I think Jim @thankful may be able to share his experience as I think he mentioned using a chinstrap with his CPAP mask.

@gramps Hi I also use a pillow type mask from Phillips and I put the chin strap on first them the mask. You may need to adjust the mask headgear a bit for the added thickness
My only issue is sometimes the chin strap slides forward a bit from.the back edge of my head. I use the following strap.
