Hi @johnbishop, thanks for your wonderments about the ability to differentiate between cold or hot.

I do agree with the author that it is probably a neurologic problem. However, it appears that he says that if you get a diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy sooner, it is more likely that it can be treated. Hmmmmm???????

Just saw your post from 2020. I have only been diagnosed with PN by my GP. Started out last summer with hot feet but now they are just COLD all the time. I use fuzzy slippers and a heating pad when I’m at home but I have to get out or I’ll lose my mind! If I see a neurologist what kind of treatment might they suggest? I take gabapentin but only in the evening because it makes me too fuzzy if I take it in the morning. Also I saw somewhere on Connect about exercises to improve circulation. Can you send those to me?
