Constant tinnitus: Are there any solutions?

@johnwhite

I suffer constant tinnitus caused by an inner ear tumour that enlarged over 10 years then shrank but left me mostly deaf and with very noisy tinnitus like a jet engine and sometime a loud ringing like a hammer striking an anvil. The specialist insists nothing can be done. So I invested in a very good set of headphones but felt very sorry for myself until another very large but benign ‘Myxoma’ tumour was found under my heart which was successfully removed. I am now on blood thinners and recovered I have been diagnosed with an enlarged bronchial artery that fill one lung with blood when under pressure. So tinnitus is not so bad to live with after all. So good luck and best wishes. John

@johnwhite I'm so sorry to hear of all those tumors you had . Glad the surgery helped you I would not be concerned about tinnitus . I have had it all my life some 40+ years . I found that dairy products especially just milk makes it worse so I drink almond milk now doesn't bother me . I wish you well john white . It's a blessing we all can survive whatever is given to us . We where never told all is fair so have to put up tinnitus better then a lot of other problems ,like being bedridden
