kneecap. Have you tried physiotherapy or knee stabilization?
I have occasional leg/foot numbness, but hiking down a rocky stream bed on a mountain a month ago resulted in knee pain. I can still take walks, but it is still sore. After a month I would think it would heal. Does my PN dramatically increase the healing time for knee injuries? Seeing Ortho next week and some doctors may not factor in PN as contributing factor in healing time.
Hello Jeffrap, I too have osteoarthritis and severe osteoporosis (daily Prednisone); several fractures over the years. Left knee is bone on bone, ortho wants to replace but not yet. So I thought the knee pain was from that but it's skin pain not it bone pain. It really is neuropathy Sxs. I 'm glad you asked the question whether or not neuropathy can exacerbate the osteoarthritis. I hope we get some answers. My Neurologist had no comment on that. Take care, Sunnyflower
