@jth4d
Prednisone has affected my blood sugar and is now showing as 108, but that is not on full fasting because I take my prednisone with a yogurt and sometimes a banana so I can get it started before I decide what to eat for breakfast. The one time that my blood sugar was tested in the afternoon (after eating lunch) it was 174. I have not had my cholesterol or triglycerides checked since I have been on prednisone. Both numbers are typically high for me but my cardiologist believes that is genetic and it has not resulted in any issues for me. I should also add that I usually have a cup of coffee first thing in the morning too. When my cardiologist or primary care order blood work, I do fast, but not for my rheumatologist.
