“Clinical for COVID-19”
In virtual visit with PCP she told me that with my symptoms I am “clinical for COVID-19.” I had been swabbed a few days prior. She told me there was a very high probability that my test would come back negative because the virus had already moved down into lungs and also there was 30-40 % false negatives. I have had 14 days of fever following 3 days of diarrhea. I have had considerable difficulty breathing as I have asthma. If not for my rescue inhaler, I would have required oxygen. It feels like there is a belt around your chest and inability to get a deep breath. My other symptoms are headache and nasal passage discomfort. Just curious how others compare and how long the fever lasts

God bless and heal you from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet.
I was sick in December, January and February. So, I had a doctor's appointment March 12 which is in the hospital. I did go to that appointment. That's the last place I have been. I have been hibernating. I watch a lot of Netflix. I read the Bible each day online. I am trying to read it all the way. I have never actually completed it but I do belong to a Bible study group. I think it's been 20 years or close. I don't work and have no children at home. My nose is blocked most of the time. I think I'm allergic to my dogs but I will not get rid of them. They are my companion dogs. I talk to them like they were a person sometimes. They love company but we never have any. My children rarely ever come to visit. I have a grandson who is on drugs. I love him dearly but when he comes to visit, I feed him and then he always asks for money. Never fails. I love this boy so very much. His mother passed at age 49 from drinking and maybe drugs. It breaks my heart. Maybe I shouldn't say all this but my dogs already know. This may be out of order. If so, I am sorry.
What kind of water do you use for the neti pot? Do you purchase distilled water? Do you boil water? I have a neti pot but have only used it once. I also have a squirt bottle I used once and it felt like I put water clear up to my brain. I couldn't stand that so I never used that again.
I had a gallon of distilled water on hand for use in my iron and Shark floor steamer and saline packets from the drugstore. The neti works with gravity and is gentle whereas the squeeze bottle uses pressure. The first time you use the neti, you’re a little apprehensive, but then you get used to it. It is very effective.
I don’t know if this would help, but i was reading online the other day about the ability of certain houseplants to improve air quality.
They actually remove impurities from the air. One is the peace lily. I know you’re wisely hibernating, but you could surely order them online. I also tossed all my curtains in the dryer for 15 minutes, and the lint trap was full. I also got rid of most area rugs because they trap a lot of allergens.
Made me smile. TY
@woogie I’m just wondering why you were in the hospital December, January, and February. Do they think you had an early Coronavirus case? You must be a lot better now, thank heavens. If/when you use a neti pot, make sure you always us distilled water. Tap water puts lots of things in your head that you don’t want!
I’m glad to hear that you talk to your dogs! 🤗 I talk to mine too. Everyone I know talks to their dogs—were all stuck inside, so who else will we talk to!
@woogie Hi on your netti pot do have the solution to put in it of just plain water ? I have bottled water its naturel but I do put it in micro to warm it then use it and yes the feeling you have is its getting into the sinuses and cleaning them out. This is what you want and only last a second . With the allergy season I do this every morning . Your doing the right thing . There is no need to boil the water only if its from the faucet but if you do make sure you test the temp on your wrist you dont want hot water just warm I swirl it around before I use it . Take care
@becsbuddy When I had my dog I did now I talk to my plants ,
