Actually once a day not once a week. I wanted to know if at any given time in a day if its beneficial to do an exercise or two like pushups or some weight lifting. I hope im not making this more confusing
Thanks

Do movement everyday - I stretch/ do leaning against wall - legs and arms - small weights- walk a hour

I think that the road I took has proved successful. Started at 60.. now 78. I train all muscle groups to exhaustion each week. When younger ran a lot. I still do the strength part but do Aerobics and yoga (for balance and flexibility) instead of running 4 to 5 half marathons a year. Sounds to be a lot. But at 78 I can still do 25 to 35 pushups ( depending how much working out I have already done. I have anxiety in check with out pills, diabetes in range, heart and lung issues where my cardiologist likes and can hike where ever I plan without worry of being hurt. But the outdoor life is and has been my goal so it works. Most don’t have that a goal . It might be they want to look good. But on working out do all body areas once each week with some cardio and build up slow is my opinion for those wanting to improve.
