Neuropathy: Anyone have any experience with gabapentin?
I have loss of feeling in my feet and tingling sensation. My doctor prescribed gabapentin. I read the side effects and decided not to take this med.
Anyone have any experience with gabapentin?

Thankfully my doctors talk with my Medicare Supplement insurance company to raise my doses--otherwise, my pain management doctor says I would have to add marijuana or change to an opioid pain med.
When I began taking Tramadol, it was not a controlled drug, but kids used it to get high. I do not know how they get high on it. Doctors treated it like Tylenol. But I really do not understand the recreation use of Tramadol at all.
I also don't know how kids get high from Tramadol - it doesn't do anything for me other than dulling pain for awhile. Perhaps that's because we're using it for the ailment it was invented to alleviate, kids don't have that ailment so it does something else ... does that make sense ? Peggy
@pfbacon Yes it does I never got high on it but it relieves the pain I can still get but if I couldn't I don't know what I,d do. I don't know if my back fractures made the difference in me still getting it but I'm grateful I do I hope you can get this med 🙏
@pfbacon Geez, that's a tricky situation.

I've never heard of having to list meds for the DMV. That's weird. I would say that if it's something you take rarely, it would be reasonable to leave it off the list. I no longer include Percocet or orphenadrine (a muscle relaxer) because I take them so rarely. It just adds eyebrow raisers.
Yes, Peggy. You have to leave off some drugs. I once told the truth on my renewal and I was denied too, but those were the days before computers, so I went to another DMV office and did not tell the truth and I got my license. I don’t even let them know that I take medical marijuana.
Medical marijuana is not like smoking the real thing. You don’t get high and it can relieve your pain if you take the right mixture of CBD and TCH. The marijuana doctor can prescribe the best type for you.
No, you don't get high unless your dose is one that you can't handle or more than you need to curb the pain. THC will bring euphoria at certain levels so be prepared to experiment and slowly work your way up the dosing and strength chart. This was my experience.
@rwinney . I tried the thc in my cbd 03 % I think it was but it gave me a headache did you encounter this? Right now I stick with just CBD
