Visual Escapes and Daily Inspirations: Share Yours

Let's create a space to offer a daily reprieve.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear into our lives. Some of that fear and uncertainty can be caused by over thinking what is going on or unnecessarily worrying. So, I'm making sure I wash my hands frequently, not touching my face, staying away from social gatherings and all of the recommended guidelines to help avoid getting or spreading COVID-19 but it can be a little boring. I try to not watch news all day long while I'm in this self imposed captivity. I like to take pictures of birds and other creatures from my window as a welcome break.

I invite you to join me in sharing pictures, favorite poems, sayings, mottos, funny moments. Let's take a daily break together.

Little light artist- he was the biggest con artist I ever known- he would not sit or stay for dad. But when I took to his favorite places( coffeshops - looks like a coffee dog or bakeries, etc he will catch a coin on his snout, sit for a treat - I miss this guy so- am in heaven up with my other other pals - too many

Another highlight from our time in Fairbanks, Alaska was a riverboat tour where the riverboat stopped at the late Susan Butcher's Kennels and home where the 4 time Iditarod Champion gave us a talk and demonstration. Another highlight was watch a bush pilot take off and land next to the riverboat after he gave us a talk on what it was like to be a bush pilot. If you are ever in Fairbanks this is a must tour.

These are beautiful, @johnbishop! I always believed everything in TX was bigger, bolder and more beautiful until my fabulous trips to Alaska where all growing things...including mosquitoes...irrevocably changed my perspective! vbg
