Visual Escapes and Daily Inspirations: Share Yours
Let's create a space to offer a daily reprieve.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear into our lives. Some of that fear and uncertainty can be caused by over thinking what is going on or unnecessarily worrying. So, I'm making sure I wash my hands frequently, not touching my face, staying away from social gatherings and all of the recommended guidelines to help avoid getting or spreading COVID-19 but it can be a little boring. I try to not watch news all day long while I'm in this self imposed captivity. I like to take pictures of birds and other creatures from my window as a welcome break.
I invite you to join me in sharing pictures, favorite poems, sayings, mottos, funny moments. Let's take a daily break together.

Last night we had one of our resident big cougars wander through town, snarling and calling. Unfortunately i have no picture. Fortunately, it was dark [about 4AM] and I was inside. You'll have to use your imagination...

This is an overgrown bush that looks more like a tree. It's quite similar to a poinsettia.
Wow! Scary and exciting at the same time. We get possums does that count?????
@virgo1952 Absolutely - a cornered possum can be pretty scary! We have had deer in our back field at sunrise with sun highlighting them, and nearer sunset also. They are losing their winter coats now, and look so bedraggled as they go from fuzzy looking to sleek!

Cool!
@virgo1952 Love the geese picture . Those people took there lives in there hands . I was once chased by a MOther goose got to close to her baby . They can be fierce . Same with Black Bears up at out camp got to close to one and the Mother came out of the brush to tell me Stay away . Keep the wildlife coming . Waiting for the babies to be born .
@lioness. Let’s See: geese, black bears, geese, black bears. I’m thinking I'd be choosing the geese. But, yes, I told that human she was playing with fire, but “oh no” she didn’t believe me. We probably looked really silly. I learned to grab the necks of the geese to paralyze them. Of course, doing this without an injury is better left to the experts Not us mere mortals. 🤣🤣🤣
@virgo1952 Are you kidding me grab the neck of the geese No way would I do that Have you ever gotten bit . Be safe take care
Unbelievable. Who r u? Make a great postcard. .
@ginger, Oh my gracious sakes!! Even little cougars "purring" would scare me witless!
