Olive is good until you get the mineral oil. Try not to use vinegar as it will dry out your ears more. It is good for excess moisture . If you do use vinegar,
use the oil right after

If you use vinegar, use 5 per cent solution. Mix it with equal amount of at 71 per cent rubbing alcohol. Use it sparingly. Basically it's for swimmers ear.
