@jude07, isn't there something you can put out there around your plants to keep the deer away? Maybe through out some seed or grass or something they like and they'd leave your plants alone? I would go nuts seeing some beautiful or not so beautiful animal munching on my special flowers or plants.....especially if I bent over and planted each one! I put moth balls outside my fence a few times when rats came up from the creek to my patio......seemed to keep them away some.....squirrels don't like them either. Nor do snakes, I think...may be mistaken there.

But, we have a lot of rain and it washed away most of the help I was getting. Love the deer and it must be lovely watching them, but it would also break my heart! Blessings, Jude and enjoy your walk in your cleared street. Don't know how you keep up with that snow and the work.....enjoy, elziabeth

@jude07 I use have a hugh garden flowers and vegie,I canned I always sprinkled Dried Blood around the flowers Nothing came near it animals don't like the smell try it

Yes, it’s hard for me to see any animal hungry, and when I was a child on a farm with my parents, my Dad never hunted them. Now I live in the city and wish they would head out to the cornfields that may have more food for them.
They only come out at 9:00 pm, they think that I can’t see them, ha!!
My prayer walk today was calm and peaceful.
