Hi,
Grilled for about 5 minutes or so....whole head rubbed with olive oil...you can season or not...done when it’s slightly charred and wilted. Really good on a fire grill but you can do it on an indoor electric grill like I do ...sometimes takes a little longer...or a grill pan on your stove. Just make sure the romaine is dry enough after you wash it. I would season it to compliment whatever you are eating....like steak seasoning if you are having steak...maybe a spritz of lemon .

Hi Florida Mary,
I think you need your own cooking show. Maybe on public t.v.
Everyone looks to you for cooking advice, including myself.
I’m sure jjjjjjdduck1 would love to live near you.
Do you like to bake also?
Take care,
Funcountess

@imallers. I never had Romaine like this do you eat it then by self or in salad? I use to like Blue cheese dressing on a wedge of lettuce but gave up iceberg lettuce

@imallears Thanks for the tip. I have never done that. Maybe we need a cooking page and you can run it.

Hi, @imallears, Thank you for the Romaine grilling tip! I love Romaine and can't wait to try preparing some this way with my next grocery delivery. Yummie & Delicious..of course, the crunchy raw is superb as well.

Hi, @imallears, Thank you so much for this Romaine grilling tip. Can't wait to try this. Of course, raw and crunchy is good too. Smiles...replied earlier but think I forgot to hit "reply"...oh, the advantages of being a bit spacey and older...lol
