Let’s Go Walking! Join me for a virtual walking support group
Many of you living with cancer or an autoimmune disease, like me, deal with daily fatigue. You know that exercise is so important to your health, but it’s so hard. There’s always an excuse: it’s too cold or hot, it’s going to rain or it’s raining, or it’s snowy and icy, or I just don’t want to. I, too, have all these excuses, but I have a new rescue dog who wants to go out and who doesn’t care about my excuses! And I’ve got traction devices for my boots.Now I just need a walking group who will keep me accountable. People who say, ‘let’s go for a walk.'

Mayofeb, agree the article is excellent and so straight forward. However, there there was a short video of using vinegar/water mix to disinfect ?...would think bleach/water would be more effective.

1 Reaction@fiesty76 I'm not sure about vinegar and water, but I was listening to Sanjay Gupta and another Dr on CNN and they said that the virus is easy to kill on surfaces and any cleaner will do it so maybe vinegar is fine. Anyhow it doesn't have to be bleach.

3 ReactionsYou can come to my house, but you will have to wear a face mask. We eat our main mail outside on a big screened in porch so it’s easy to do 6 foot distancing 😉. Unfortunately, I am paralyzed with a spinal cord injury so I can no longer walk. I miss doing that so much. My husband takes a walk every morning and I just stay in the house. I think that I will make a chocolate cake today.

3 Reactions@pollyanne @fiesty76 I use a vinegar wash on berries to kill mold spores so the berries keep longer but I have read it is not effective on COVID-19.

I would be delighted to sit 6-8' from you on your lovely screened in porch as we got better acquainted, shared a meal and maybe resorted to drawing straws over who might get the last piece of your scrumptious chocolate cake!!!! 2 ReactionsWell I’m stuck in the house and so there is nothing to do except baking cakes and cooking nice dinners. It was just spaghetti and meat balls today with garlic bread. Maybe I’ll make a New Orleans jambalaya on Sunday. There’s no baseball on tv, so maybe I’ll watch some golf.
