Virtual colonoscopy, known more formally as computerized tomographic CT colonography, is offered at all 3 Mayo Clinic locations. The virtual colonoscopy uses advanced imaging software to produce a three-dimensional view of the entire colon and rectum. I have had 2 CT scans here in Mexico and they both mention issues with the cecum. The reports are in Spanish. I have applied to get an appt. with Mayo Clinic in AZ but have not heard back.
