sorry, but your doctor is wrong -- neuropathy can definitely cause cold feet -- but for some it has the opposite effect that the feet are just burning

I'd agree. My feet went through fazes of both hot and cold. I believe it to be sensory dysfunction. My Dad lives with ice cold feet from diabetic neuropathy. There are holistic approaches such as warm heat packs, warm foot soaks with Epsom salts, fleece lined slippers/socks, topicals to promote heat. The hot feet may need fans, air conditions, cool water soaks etc...

I find that no one has a clue what it's like unless they also have it.
Maybe the worst part of aging for me and my cousin, our mothers
were sisters and both struggled with their feet. Don't think I ever
heard them call it that.
