Lidocaine infusion and chronic pain Wisconsin

Posted by gashmell @gashmell, Feb 3, 2020

I’m trying to find a clinic or pain specialist in Wisconsin who works with lidocaine infusions. My neurologist highly recommended it but idk of anywhere doing the infusions. Has anyone had success with this infusion? Where did you have the infusion and who ordered it? My neurologist is from another state so I’m the researcher! Thank you for your help!

I received lidocaine infusions to treat SFN for 5 1/2 months. Got to highest dose then dropped them bc they weren't cuttin' the mustard.

Are you located in Wisconsin per chance?

Hello @gashmell. Have you discussed getting help locating a specialist with your neurologist? Typically, providers are able to refer patients elsewhere. If your neurologist is already recommending you try this treatment, they should be able to help you locate a physician or facility that can help you. Have you discussed this with your provider?

Sorry it did not work for you. I have arachonditis and no one in my state treats it. Chronic pain is so hard to deal with. Hope you find some relief somewhere. I pray you will.
