@jeffrapp Hi Jeff, The 50 mg pill is the regular Naltrexone. It is not the Low Dose Naltrexone. That is not the right pill. You must find a pharmacy that will make this Low Dose Naltrexone, 4.5 mg. pill for you. Furthermore, you generally start out at about 3.0 mg., and have to work up to 4.5 mg. after 3 days. It is called a "compounding pharmacy" that you have to find. The pharmacist, literally, makes the LDN special order, just for you. You cannot just cut up the 50 mg. regular Naltrexone pills. You will not get the dosage right. Good luck, and give it a try. Lori

Thanks

Hi Lori. Just saw your original post on LDN a few days ago & was able to get in to see my doctor. She just emailed saying a local compounding pharmacy has naltrexone 4.5 mg tablets, but you said 3.0mg is what you start out taking? Do you take just one per day? I take Hydro at 3:00pm or so, because that's when the hardcore pain usually starts. It would be nice to have some relief during the day as well, so I thought the LDN might be good to take in the morning. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to try this & am glad I found your post. Thank you.
