I have the same problem for a while now though somehow it doesn't happened in summer! My local dermatologist describs these pills -in the pic down- for a month and surprisingly it worked! YAY, not for too long tho it actually screwed my immune system really badly, I got really sick from influenza. Also the antihistamines made palpitation especially in bed time... I guess this condition has something to do with dry skin and weird immune system respond to the sweat!! Any way am trying to embrace for what it worth
Hi @godric, Welcome to Connect. It's great when you can find something that gives you relief from your symptoms. Did your dermatologist think your symptoms might be caused by an allergy when they prescribed the medications?

1 ReactionHave you received any sort of diagnosis or figured out any medication that helps? Reading your description, I felt like you were writing it about me and not your spouse. Thanks!
Hello @dbking and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. How wonderful that you were able to find a connection with post by @stevenson. I can see that you are interested in hearing an update so have used the "@" sign + the member's handle to alert them to your interest in wanting to connect.
Are your triggers for pain the same as described by the post you read and responded to?
@stevenson ...sorry forgot to tag you!
@amandajro yes, same triggers.
Did you ever find out what your husband's problem was? I have very similar symptoms and am trying to do some research before I go to my doctor's appointment.
@theturtler My doctor recently told me it was a form of Urticaria. I’d start there. Zyrtec has really helped keep my symptoms at bay.
Hello @theturtler and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I see you've found an experience similar to that of your own in what @stevenson has shared.
Do you mind sharing a few more details so that other members may offer some suggestions leading up to your appointment?
