Is flu shot recommended for Stage 3 CKD patient?

@feisty76 Yes, it was stressed to me to be sure to get the flu vaccine, not only by my primary care doctor, but also my nephrologist and the pharmacy where I ended up getting it. I am over 65, and got the higher dose.

@fiesty76 . Have now had three flu shots with stage 3 CKD with no problem. Is there a reason you are questioning getting a flu shot?

Thanks for your responses, Ginger and Trishana. Have been getting the flue shots for years but having read that some medications can interfere with or impair kidney function, just wanted to be sure.
