Just something to think about, untreated sleep apnea = lack of oxy to the brain = lack of oxy to the brain = atrophy = anything else that goes with it. I agree it is the biggest pain in the butt to not only find a mask, then get used to it and live happily ever after. I am in my 13th month now and have just found the mask and setup that works for me.....be patient you will reap the benefits.
