Thanks, johnbishop. I found the article interesting, but I guess my fear is that some antioxidants, vitamins, etc. or else large amounts of them may block the receptors on cancer cells and restrict the admission of the cancer drug into the cell (as has been suggested by some of my health care team). Then again, other reputable sites such as the mayo grocery bag site recommended above seem to indicate that antioxidants are very effective in preventing cancer growth. My assumption was that it depends on the drug, but there doesn't seem to be much information about panitumumab, so I'm not sure whether to curb my intake of antioxidants and vitamin C and green tea etc. or indulge.

Hi @mscoyote I’d be interested in hearing what you learned from the pharmacist. What did they tell you about possible interactions with antioxidants, vitamin C, green tea etc. Or did they say that some foods or supplement could support the therapy? Have you also considered consulting a nutritionist who specialized in oncology?
