Nut allergies and being near products made with almonds

Wondering if a person is allergic to nuts can they be near almond milk or almond yogurt, as long as they don't eat them, and not have an allergic reaction?

@crk- hello. Welcome to Connect. Great question. My husband is allergic to nuts, especially peanuts so he stays away from all nuts. I'm not allergic to nuts. I drink almond milk and eat all sorts of nuts. He has never had a problem. If you don't have an allergic reaction than you are cool!
