Brachioradial Pruritus

I have had this problem for 3 months now, it is driving me crazy, itching day and night no sleep because of constant itching, scabbing, bleeding from me scratching my arms from my elbows to my wrists. Kaiser has been treating it like an rash? with creams that never work? their spine clinic refuses to look at my spine as part of the cause?

Hi, @lorifig1965 - Wanted to let you know that I've moved your post here to this existing discussion on brachioradial pruritis so that all the conversations on this topic can be in one place. Hoping that @guga @laisseraler will have some thoughts to share on whether they find ice packs to be their only relief from forearm burning and itching.

Has the injection provided relief continuing into today, lorifig1965?

It's 4am I've been up all night with burning and itching so NO the injection has not helped at all.

I'm so sorry to hear that it didn't work. I have been up 4 times tonight I can't walk today today's a bad day pain is now in both buttocks going down my legs I now have developed sores under my arms going down my left arm I don't know what's going on but it's not good in pain so much I can barely hold a phone up

Does anyone know of a doctor in the U.S. that has heard of it dealt with brachioradial puritius? I will travel I can't take the burning itch any longer. Any advice will help.

I have been searching online, doctor after doctor and nothing in the U.S. mayo did a study some years back. I feel like that may be the only hope.

This is a rare condition even Kaiser is unaware of it? I am trying to get the gov. to do clinical trails but need help to convince the medical clinics to take this on? I have all the links to get started!

Doing Clinical Trial means that you need to get permission from your doctor first! Written authorization. Then since there is no trial going on we need to write a request for Clinical Trials for this condition the Gov. website will post the request and then wait for clinics and doctors to reply! Where are you located?
I am located in Vallejo, CA 94590 I posted a support group on CL. community groups but have not gotten one member yet?
