I think there is some caution about making decisions based on calcium levels. My doctor stated this, as the calcium level can vary from time to time, and many hormones and other health factors influence the level.
Without. Adequate Vitamin D3, serum calcium does not enter bone matrix from readings I have done. So having adequate serum calcium alone does not benefit bone matrix if the D is low is my understanding.
