Chronic gagging and vomiting

Hello all, I'm a 45 year old male who for the past 10+ years have been gagging for no apparent reason and if ive eaten will vomit. this has been a daily occurrence for me. i have been to my PCP, ENT and GI dr's including 2 doctors in Boston, Ma at 2 different hospitals and no one can seem to give any answers.

Hi, @danc - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. The chronic gagging for no apparent reason and vomiting after eating sound hard to deal with.

As you look for answers, I thought you'd like to get some support from others who have mentioned similar symptoms as well as any insights they may have on your situation. Please meet @jcbonne1 @jhinia @wrliu24587 @julianned. @hopeful33250 and @lorirenee1 also may have some thoughts.

Are you able to keep any food down, then, danc?

I think some. But if I eat a “regular size” meal I I vomit several times
