Hi, @stuckonu - I wanted to join @ethanmcconkey in welcoming you to Mayo Clinic Connect. I also thought that @georgette12 @robbinr @marazion @ladybirder might have some input for you on hypnosis.

For what purpose were you looking to use hypnosis, stuckonu?

I seem to be offering the same opinion that I just posted under the topic of ECT . But it's valid for me, personally .
That is, what works for one person will not necessarily work for another, even under similar circumstances. People are just too unique to project an absolute result . Ya just gotta take the leap and try it for yourself, whatever the modality. I studied hypnotherapy for years, along with other non-medical therapies. I did experience success, but then, we each have a different vision of what success looks like.

Hi Lisa, my nubiness is getting in the way of me knowing what to do with the @......x all the members you listed. Do I PM them or click their name and find a mention of hypnosis?
I’m also wondering if those with the power moved my post? I’m not upset if they did but I thought I posted this question in a group that specifically applied to an issue I’m dealing with...most recently I had that SBO attack. STRESS, has become moved to a new level. Pain is both chronic and acute. Coping and communication has also shifted gears and become difficult to manage. Where I posted this I don’t recall
