another cbd oil question

Can anyone get cbd oil in Colorado. The medical Maurjana kind. ?? If we are taking a trip up there can I go into a store and purchase it? I'm not talking about the kind you can get from Amazon.

@peggyn, So you are headed to Colorado. Vacation? You should be able to find CBD in a variety of flavors, delivery system (capsules, tincture, topical) and dosages. You have to have proof that you are 21 or over. That's it. Tourists are welcome from anywhere in the world. There are some purchasing limits on the laws. Here is the link to that site.

If you want medical cannabis, then you need to make sure your products are from the cannabis plant and not the hemp plant. If you do have a medical license even from another state then perhaps it might also be helpful to bring it for assistance from a representative regarding intended use, dosages, and CBD: THC ratios.

And then, don't forget that even though you are in an airplane your are crossing state lines where the federal law is the law of the land.

And I will send you off with a caution flag:: Remember, you can never have less, although, you can always have more.
Be safe and protected today. Chris

@peggyn, Unless your doctor already writes cannabis prescriptions, I doubt if he/she would write one for you for Colorado. He/she may know your presenting issue, although prescribing what will work for you takes knowledge of the cannabis products. I don’t know anything about Colorado. The dispensaries in CA have guides on the floor at all times.

In California, there is no way to distinguish between medical and recreational products except by who uses them and what their intended use is. You just have to know what you are doing or ask for help from a staff member at the dispensary.

I remember helping a dad who was trying to find appropriate solutions for his son’s autism. Do you know what you want? For example....If it is a tincture, then most of those are pretty well crafted to fit a certain dosage. You can put them in tea or other beverage or use them straight from a measured dropper. The difference is that the delivery system can take 15 minutes (under the tongue) or 45 minutes if placed in your coffee. So be careful......Chris

There are very few drs. in Texas that will write a pres. Not any near me. I have been researching and I don't know of a place to get the tincture with cannabis> You can't take it with you to a national park either. I was hoping to get a supply of several months for pain relief. Mine is mostly neuropathy plus back pain. I guess I just won't be able to get anything. I don't want the high I just won't the relief>

@peggyn You have to be careful if you search the web also . I bought cbd with the 0.03 thc and it gave me a headache so I found a site that only has the cbd from the hemp plant , I think its like finding a needle in the haystack as to where to buy it from a reputable site or store . In Calif we have a lot of stores but I don't trust them anymore then the web so do your research. I am going to try the cbd in tea Barr has 2 types of tea waiting for it to come .

@peggyn & @lioness, Unfortunately, @peggyn, I do not know either. I think that is why there are so many support staff members in the dispensaries....to make sure everyone knows the ins and outs of the products and how they might fit your particular need. They are motivated to acquire a customer by helping them choose correctly and following up on the effectiveness of choices.

They respect call lists and let you know when out of stock products are back in inventory. Their customer experience program is top shelf from my perspective.

Almost everything I have learned in the last few years about medical cannabis is from the folks dispensing it. As far as I know, none of the products that I use are available online. I do want to make one suggestion for clarity. The CBD: THC formulas in some pre-pre-set dosages are essential because the THC activates the CBD. However, you never have to feel high. You can do a 3 or 10:1 CBD/THC and unless you drink a whole bunch you will not be high. I avoid the high by double-checking the dosage.

Perhaps the best thing you can do is support and vote for a change of the laws in TEXAS. My heart just breaks when I read about the pain that folks are enduring on Connect.

So, today, may you have freedom from suffering and the causes of suffering. Chris
