@fotula

I just started taking a vitamin offered by Life Extension. It is called Bone Restore with K2. It was highly recommended. It contains 3 different types of calcium, Vit D 3, K2, Magnesium, Zinc, and Manganese. I also just got off the treadmill after walking 1 3/4 miles. I don't like taking drugs and I feel that they are just pushed on us because it is easier than making lifestyle changes.

@fotula I don’t like taking drugs either and minimize whenever possible. When you have a bone density problem though you can include more calcium rich foods in your diet, and they say exercise helps. I am doing both already. The calcium rich food is difficult because I am lactose intolerant. I hope that taking calcium and D3 will help.

I have a lot of restrictions on vitamins, herbs, and food due to being post (liver) transplant, so I will stick with this. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I take Nature's Way Alive Calcium Bone formula. It contains vitamin D3, Vitamin k2, magnesium & plant calcium. I also take separately magnesium citrate every other day. I walk & jog about 3 miles per day about 6 times per week and have had osteopenia for many years but has not progressed to osteoporosis as of yet.
