@fotula I just fractured a part of my femur. There is really nothing that can be done for it, it just has to heal on its own, but the doctor did suggest I take Vitamin D and Calcium. The recommended dose for D is 800 -1000 IU a day, and for Calcium, it is 1200 mg. I don't think that can hurt and it might help. I am a post-transplant patient and asked my transplant team if this is allowable for me and they said yes.

@contentandwell Make sure you have the Vit D3 my Dr. has me on 5000 mg she felt that was sufficient for me I take calcium also
