My daughter was aware of many food sensitivities found in the test- but there was also new information. The food allergies and sensitivities developed almost overnight and caused a lot of confusion and panic in her life. There are many cross reactions too, such as pollen allergies with foods. She had recently been diagnosed with celiac disease - an autoimmune disease that often exists with hypothyroidism, which she already had.
She is feeling much better now. The exposure to all the allergens caused chronic inflammation in the body, which is now more or less gone.

I’m glad she is feeling better.
So you would suggest doing a test that look for food allergies? It’s not another scam?

@astaingegerdm That's wonderful that your daughter is feeling better, it certainly makes the testing worthwhile. So far the only thing I know I react to is lactose, and that's just been since I have been on immunosuppressants. I will be aware of gluten and celiac though since I too have hypothyroidism.
When my son was a toddler he had a terrible reaction to gluten. Back then there was no internet so I scoured every book in every bookstore and in the library to find information. I finally found out that there is a form of celiac that affects children when they are teething! He did not have a problem with his first teeth, just with the next bunch that came in. Poor kid, if I didn't get to him immediately, as in if he had a bowel movement during the night, it would leave his skin totally raw. After his teeth were in it stopped. I wonder if he is at risk for celiac at some point though.
