hi Lisa, thanks for your concern., I have contacted Mayo and started a file. we were waiting for a w/c to arrive before the trip.it arrived today so I hope to make appointment with Mayo tomorrow. Wife has had a bad day and seems to be deuterating. I was hoping physical therapy would help, but isn't.
We will keep looking, but not so hopeful today. wife doesn't want to go to Mayo, I think that's why she has had such a sharp downturn....

I'm sorry to hear that your wife was not helped by the physical therapy and that she is feeling more discouraged. It is so wonderful that you are advocating on her behalf and trying to get the best treatment for her.

@randypixie This sounds so difficult for you. I’m so sorry. Maybe your wife doesn’t want to go because she’s just tired OT it all and doesn’t want anymore poking and prodding. And being stared at in the airport. My balance, too, has been off and I’m sure people think I’m drunk, but that’s the way it is. Have you had a chance to really talk with your wife? Maybe sit down with a therapist who can help quite the conversation. Also, do you have a female friend who can go to the airport with you? With IBS your wife may need help in the bathrooms. Maybe you’ve already checked out your local airport to see what help they have available. Have you?
Think of everything before you go. Then your wife might change her mind. Wishing you luck

I am sorry your wife is not doing as well. Has she stated why she doe not want to go? Maybe you could help to come up with a way to overcome the objections she has. Hopefully she will feel more inclined to go in a few days and that she will be doing better.
