Yes. My last visit with ophthalmologist, he said I have “potholes” where my corneas aren’t getting any moisture. I have tried plugs in tear ducts, Restasis and using moisturizing drops several times a day. He switched me to Xiidra. I’ve been using for about a month now and my eyes do feel better. I’m anxious what doctor will see when I have follow up appointment. Side effects are a bad taste in mouth and eyes tear a lot for an hour or so after I use them. Those things Incan live with if it’s going to save the damage to my eyes.

Hi well, my husband 66 yrs old, healthy in shape, never had an eye problem, but unfortunatly, he is a sun person. the doctor has put him on Lotemax, 2x day since his cataract sx on june 30th. NOthing has helped his sunlight sensitivity, hes already tried other steroids drops. Doc doesnt seem to answer any questions, just keeps trying new drops. really frustrated. My husband cannot enjoy his life, cant go outside ,even drive in the day time, too much glare, We are seeking second opinion, almost 2 months since sx, and 9 weeks having this severe sensitivity. I have been reading everything! no real answers i have come up with. IM getting scared for him, doc says his eye is totally healthy, no cornea problems, glaucoma, injury, abrasion, nothing !!!!!!

@patriciao Listening to your post that's my L eye right now hurts more then other Dr told me to use ointment at night but finding even in day I need it Want to ask about Xiidra let me know how it works for you and what Dr says
