@parus Can you see us lined up right beside you and behind you to support you? Pull up your chair to this cyber-table, pour a cup of coffee or tea, get out your drawing materials as I will get out my tangling supplies. We'll be in comfortable quiet that comes from friends who "understand".
Yes, I am officially now a Certified Zentangle Teacher! It was an awesome experience, but admittedly pretty overwhelming for an autie.

@gingerw CONGRATULATIONS!!! Going to do just that as my chronic pain says stop the social life for now. Can you feel me looking over your shoulder to learn some things???
@colleenyoung Hey, I would appreciate some input accompanied by experience. I have missed my friends here at connect. Just don't have much to give for now. It is not just the most recent diagnosis. Just trying to get to appointments takes everything I have right now. Will admit I am needing some support. Argh!!! I admitted thus.
I acknowledge that this will be a cancer journey as well as a tremendous inner battle within yourself because of past experiences and abuse. Remember that were and are a precious child. There is absolutely no part of your body that is dirty. @vsinn2000 had to struggle with similar issues when she was diagnosed with vulvar cancer. Read her story and the patience she gathered to get the treatment she needed here:

Parus, A part of your body - the bladder - needs help. Like you, it's not used to getting all this attention. But the only way it and you can get treatment is to allow it to get the attention it needs. Let me repeat, there is NO PART of your body that is dirty. You and your bladder deserve to get the treatment that is right for you. Tell your care team how you feel. You deserve to be treated with respect and your past acknowledged. We're here. We're listening.

We’re all here to support you @parus ! In only a fe short months, I feel as though I know even though I’ve never met you. What you are going through is just so difficult and you’ve always shown such grace. I admire that. I’ll check in on you occasionally and put a virtual hand on your shoulder. Would that be ok?

@colleenyoung Thank you and I will be checking in as I can. Not pushing myself-hard to believe!!! I have shared some with the nurse. She has been so helpful. Thankful for those nurses.
@gingerw WARNING: May trigger some members with PTSD etc. You already have-The shame comes from past abuse and old messages of how dirty down there is...Working on that within myself.
@gingerw Thank you as I need some input as bladder cancer in women is not so common. Currently feeling like a leper. I haven't been into much lately. Battling the depression and mostly zone. As long as things are getting done is all that matters right now. Even too exhausted to do any research. Having internet issues as well. Had to have major repairs on my car as it is as
myself. Old and tired. The side effects are a concern as I have so many issues with medications. Going to try. I was prescribed Fosamax for the osteo and now regretting even trying thus. We shall see.
I have been wondering about your zentangle adventure. Are you now a CZT???
Thank you for some encouragement. Just overwhelmed for now.
@#parus I can only imagine how weary you must be. If there is anything those of us on Connect can do to help, you know we are here. I really understand the exhaustion, things just become completely overwhelming.
I wish I could offer more in the way of help, but I am not familiar with the types of problems that you are having.

@gingerw Clarification. I meant you have already helped me with such an encouraging mental image.
