I have had it since cabg x3 plus partial maze surgery 7 months ago.
I have had 3 echo's and heart cath to verify severe tricuspid valve regurgitation 87-95 pressure. No cough or abnormal breathing problems as long as resting and heart not racing. I am taking tikasyn for a-fib since last year. Three cat scans verify only mild lung fibrosis (not considered causing high pressure by 3 pulmonolgist). They tested and looked for embolism and so far found none. All three don't believe tricuspid valve could cause my high pressure. Have started on Tyvaso DPI 3 weeks ago, with breathing issues that I did not have before. Doctors backing me off Tyvaso dosage, to see if that helps. I may not be able to take it.
Could the severe tricuspid valve regurgitation alone be causing the high pressure in my heart?
