Episodes going on and I don't know what to do.

This is all going to sound weird but its bothering me. In January I started having issues of having the chills or my hands/arms shaking out of control. This didn't happen every nite actually seldom but now they are getting more frequent . Its usually when I have been sleeping. These episodes don't last long but I can't stop them. Last nite I was watching TV and my one arm started shaking and then the other arm did and it lasted awhile and I was thinking how do I stop this , it finally quit. One episode was my heart was beating so fast and so hard and I was breathing in very deeply. Didn't last long and it quit. Today now I have a headache and earlier I would just fall asleep, start dreaming and waking up when I was talking aloud to someone in my dream. Those dreams are so real. Been thinking I should make a appointment with a neurologist but don't know if I should do it now or if I can wait until I go back to mayo for a ct scan for lung cancer in late June. Any ideas...… or am I just weird. My blood work is good, except my thyroid was a little off , first time , always good before.

Hi Mr. Jensen. I think I am getting all the bases covered...…….I just wish I knew what was causing it so I would know if its something that I will have to deal with or something that is minor. Seems like everytime I turn around something is wrong and I go to the specialists and get checked out. Deal with whatever I have to deal with and move on. My gp is scheduling an appt with a neurologist here but I can tell you for certain if its something serious I will be heading back to mayo...….. Been going there since 2011. Thanks for all the advice . Its all appreciated.

Joan (@sakota), you're strong and focused, and that's a real advantage. I also am encouraged to see these key words: "neurologist" and "Mayo." That combination is going to illuminate your path ahead, and we'll all be interested in hearing about what you'll decide to do with the help of your good doctors. Martin

Hi lorie. I am not waiting long for a ct scan.... I have been having one every 3 or 6 months since 2011 and have had 2 surgeries and 2 rounds of radiation. I just saw a cardiologist last month for a checkup at mayo. Everything was good. I think I am covering all the bases. My gp is setting up an appt with a neurologist here and if it shows something serious I am heading back to mayo. Thanks for your help and caring.
