Hi @colleenyoung. My surgeries were June 2nd and June 23rd. I had immediate initial post op appointments with surgeon the next morning for each surgery. With the first surgery, my next post-op appoinment was a week later; with the second surgery my post followup appointment is three weeks after the surgery (I see my surgeon again on July 17th). With the IV instead of all the multiple daily drops, I had very little discomfort, if any. Extra strength Tylenol was sufficient. Bright lighting was very noticeable (I dimmed all my light fixtures to make it more comfortable for the first days after). Wearing the night shield every night for the first week after the surgeries was a bit of a hassle, as the paper tape was a bit harsh on my face. There were no complications whatsoever with either surgery.

Today I obtained my after surgery new prescriptions for all my of glasses (regular vision and sunglasses). It will be so welcome to put away my magnifying glass which I have had to use for reading, especially small fonts. My surgeon did forewarn me that I would need stronger bifocals after the surgery.
I am so very grateful and pleased I was able to have this dropless procedure as my eyes do not/cannot tolerate eye drops. There are only two
eye centers in Western Washington that perform dropless cataract surgery. It was well worth the long drive to Federal Way, Washington to see
Dr. Chung!

OK, So did you have the single focus or mutifocus lens put in to correct your vision ? I am on the fence about this at the moment. Glad yours was a great success. Thanks for sharing with the group. Will be doing mine when my pardner heals from knee replacement. Continued good luck. Be Safe
