perihilar infiltrate
I was recently released from hospital with pneumonia. The chest x-ray showed a right perihilar infiltrate. Anyone know what this means?

You have courage. I admire you.
At 65 I don't intend to fight. I just want hospice.
Happy you see doctor tomorrow, will be looking here to see how you did, Good Luck!!Jeanette aka girlbybay
thank you, that was very kind.
If you don't mind sharing, what do you guys/girls tell yourself after getting "the diagnosis"? Maybe it will help me because I can't think of anything inspiring to tell myself.
Hi Jeanette, I have great news-no cancer! There is a problem but it is relatively minor considering what I was expecting: I have an antibiotic resistant infection in my right lung. My doc wants to wait 2 weeks and re-x ray. If he doesn't like what he sees I may need surgery (he wasn't very clear on that next step). Still, I'll take that diagnosis over a tumor anyday.
Thank you for your concern.
